Where did the Elves even go in Lord of the Rings and why didn't they help more in the Battle of Gondor?
They felt their time was done and it was time to leave the lands for their eternity island thing.
Also, where were the other Dwarves?
The dwarves were blocked in the Lonley Mountain by a force of evil humanoids. "At the same time as the great armies besieged Minas Tirith a host of the allies of Sauron that had long threatened the borders of King Brand crossed the River Carnen, and Brand was driven back to Dale. There he had the aid of the Dwarves of Erebor; and there was a great battle at the Mountain’s feet. It lasted three days, but in the end both King Brand and King Dáin Ironfoot were slain, and the Easterlings had the victory. But they could not take the Gate, and many, both Dwarves and Men, took refuge in Erebor, and there withstood a siege."
Yes, I'm a geek. No, I'm not apologizing for it.

I thought having a CF% of 44% was a bad thing and easily replaced by any Ahl type player...also shooting over 19% is unsustainable....etc etc

I think Gandalf wasn't allowed to go full Gandalf, something about men having to figure it out themselves...even though the elves were responsible for evil going over there in the first place, but whatevs. |

Why do I continue to read Tanner stories? - BlackhawkMike
The same reason people watch Howard, Fine and Howard attempt tasks such as tailoring, carpentry, etc.
I mean, that's why I'm here. |

Why would you buy furniture?
For 99% of the population, renting furniture makes more sense. |

Is this from the Simarillian? I do not recall this from the books, but I have not read them since high school. Either way, great post.

Danny you really need to not comment on things you know nothing about.
What do you mean "Where did the elves go?" The elves were from Aman which is across the ocean. That's where the elves were.
The dwarfs were busy fighting their own wars. The movies are only focused on Gondor and Mordor.
Gandalf only uses his powers against beings that are equal to him, such as the Balrog. It would immoral of him to use his magic against lesser beings.

This is psychotic haha Make Mordor great again or what? I guess it's true what they say - there were some good people on both sides at Comicon. |
